If you follow fashion with anything more than a fleeting interest, you’ll probably have heard of British designer Olivia Rubin. Her label is now in its sixth season, and her name is rising fast towards those of London’s designer fashion elite.
Rubin, 26, previously worked for Alexander McQueen and John Galliano after graduating from Central Saint Martins College in London, and has since built a reputation around her unique graphic prints (in particular, the brick print) and as a result appears regularly in fashion magazines like Grazia and Vogue, who authoritatively declared her one to look out for.
Thackerays has a tendency towards standout British designers, and Olivia Rubin is no exception — the range is now part of our AW10 line-up, and there’ll be more next season.
